Refund Policy

Bandhan uses a classifieds-style model. You pay only when you choose to publish, and the price you pay is always shown clearly at checkout before you confirm.

We do not sell memberships or subscriptions, and we do not charge separate fees to view or unlock contact details beyond what is described at checkout.

Payment is collected upfront, at the time you submit your advertisement, so that it can enter our review queue. After your payment is confirmed, your advertisement is placed in a pending state and reviewed by a member of our team before it becomes visible to other users.

Payments are processed by our payment providers (for example, Stripe on the web, and the Apple App Store or Google Play for in-app purchases on mobile). Bandhan does not store your full card details.

Because we charge before review, we make sure you are never charged for an advertisement we decline. If a moderator does not approve your advertisement, the refund is automatic.

We only mark a payment as refunded once our payment provider has confirmed the refund. In the rare event that an automatic refund cannot be completed straight away (for example, a temporary issue with the payment provider, or a purchase made through a mobile app store whose refund must be handled separately), please contact us through our Help Center (see the "How to Contact Us" section below) and we will arrange your refund.

Once your advertisement is approved and published, the service you paid for has been delivered: your advertisement becomes live and visible to other families for its full visibility period (21 days for a standard paid advertisement, unless a different duration is stated at the time of posting). For this reason, the posting fee and any Featured upgrade are non-refundable once an advertisement has been approved and published.

This includes situations within your control after publication — for example, if you change your mind, find a match, ask us to take the advertisement down early, or your advertisement is later removed because it breaches our Terms & Conditions or Community Guidelines.

A Featured upgrade is tied to a specific advertisement. If that advertisement is not approved, the Featured upgrade is refunded together with the posting fee as described above. If the advertisement is approved and published, the Featured upgrade is delivered and is non-refundable.

From time to time we may allow advertisements to be posted for free or under a promotional offer (for example, a launch offer). No payment is taken for these advertisements, so there is nothing to refund if such an advertisement is not approved or is later removed. Any promotional offer is subject to its own eligibility rules and limits, which are described where the offer is presented.

If you believe you were charged but your advertisement was not created, you were charged more than once for the same advertisement, or you were charged an incorrect amount, please contact us. We will investigate and refund any charge that was taken in error.

If you delete your Bandhan account, your active, pending, and expired advertisements and related data are removed. Deleting your account is permanent and does not entitle you to a refund — this includes advertisements that have already been published and advertisements that are still pending review at the time of deletion. If you have submitted an advertisement that is still awaiting review and you want the automatic refund described above to apply if it is not approved, please wait for the review to be completed before deleting your account.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account, or method.

Once a refund is issued by us, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider, and is outside our control. For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds may also be subject to the relevant store’s policies and processing times.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Refunds are handled according to the policy in effect at the time of your purchase.
